Sepia Smiles - now available at Anthropologie US

So, I have been going on about this 'secret project' for a while now and I can finally reveal what has been going on!

Back in June I was contacted by Anthropologie US via my Etsy Shop (thanks Etsy!) to create something along the lines of my message in a bottle kits for their holidays collection. Of course I was very glad to oblige and went on to custom design some products for them and posted them off. A month or so later they contacting saying that they would love to place orders for my New Years Resolution Kits. I was of course, delighted!
They have since also ordered the Valentines Message in a Bottle Kits I have designed for their Valentines Day capsule so they will also be available to buy soon.

My designs will be sold in 99 of their stores across America and Canada and also on their website too. I shall post a link to the items once they become available to purchase online.

This really is a dream come true for me as I have always been a huge fan of Anthropologie and I am so thrilled that they chosen my items to stock in their amazing stores - I am so grateful for the opportunity and beyond excited - still!

I shall be blogging about the whole experience and how the heck I managed to pull it all off in the short space of time I had to do it all in. It's all thanks to my amazing family and friends and some excellent expert help too.

Just goes to show it pays not to give up on your dreams - ever!

Vivant Boutique - Stow on the Wold

Last week I visited the lovely Cotswold's and the beautiful market town - Stow on the Wold, with my good friend and business collaborator Lance Jones
We went to visit the recently opened Vivant Boutique which offers a wonderful range of UK handmade arts and crafts and to meet with the owner Jill Lawrence. Jill opened the boutique in October after moving back to the UK from France.

The boutique has a wonderful array of things to buy including wooden bowls, greetings cards, glassware, jewelry, teddy bears, scarves, wall hangings, enamels, decoupage glass, felt brooches, soaps, candles and a large range of other types of textile products like cushions, tissue holders, purses and lavender bags.  Jill's own line of handmade jewelry - Vivant Jewelry is also on display there.
I am also very lucky to have my New Years Resolution Kits featured at Vivant too and they will also be available to purchase at the craft markets Jill will be attending over the holiday season.

If you happen to be in this beautiful area of the Cotswold's over the holiday season please be sure to stop by Vivant!

Awesome Customer: Illustrated Bridesmaid Invitations Kits

A little while ago I created some customized confetti bags for one of my lovely customers - Maite Canto.
Maite wanted to create some personalized bridesmaid invitation kits to send to her bridesmaids for her upcoming wedding.

The other day she sent me these photos that she shared on her Cargo Collective page - I was literally in awe - they are so beautiful - I love the way she has personalized them so artistically and with the illustrations of each of the bridesmaids! What a lovely thoughtful way to invite your bridesmaids to be a part of your big day.

All of this amazing creativity happened while in the process of her moving from Chicago to London - what a feat!

Thanks so much Maite, for sharing these images with us and for including my confetti bags.

Etsy Finds - Trending Items

I was thinking the other day that it is about time I shared a bit of love for Etsy. If it wasn't for this amazing online marketplace I wouldn't be running this business and I would not have come upon the wonderful contacts and opportunities to grow my business that I have done.

And, with their new search tool - trending items - I would not have found these goodies and the awesome shops that sell them quite so easily - I can be a little impatient with the whole searching process!
This new tool has also definitely made my 'favourites' list a lot longer too!

Real Weddings: Beth and Raza's Wedding Party at Villandry

Recently I posted about the elopement of Beth and Raza to Big Sur in California.
Well, they recently held a big party to celebrate their wedding. I was lucky enough to have been asked to help with the place cards for the tables and Beth kindly sent me the link to the website of the company that photographed the event. September Pictures did an amazing job of capturing the best elements of the party - it looks like it was a whole lot of fun!!

The party was held at the lovely Villandry Great Portland Street London.

You can take a look at all of the pictures here which also shows off the beautiful styling and the table decor.
I can't believe Beth managed to pull this whole thing off in two weeks - amazing!

Interiors: Apartment Decor

I have been getting a few ideas for decorating my new (although I should say old and tired) place that I have just moved into. It's pretty small compared to my house but thats good for me. I always found decorating smaller areas much easier! And there is much less work, cleaning, maintenance etc.. no garden - no gardening - yippee! although my dog is getting about 15 walks a day but thats good for me too!
It's a bit strange knowing that I can now make this place as girly as I like - seeing as it's now just me and my girl  - I don't think my dog will care about how I decorate - as long as it's cozy and warm she will be happy!
